OmniCalcs Legal & Policy

Comprehensive Disclaimers

Last Updated: November 1, 2026

1. General Computational Disclaimer

OmniCalcs provides automated interactive tools, mathematical formulas, and simulation algorithms designed to assist users in making preliminary estimates. All computational outputs generated by OmniCalcs are mathematical simulations and should not be construed as definitive real-world figures.

Actual results depend on external variables, including market volatility, lender closing fees, municipal tax adjustments, supplier material specifications, and individual biological differences.

2. Financial & Mortgage Disclaimer

OmniCalcs is not a lender, mortgage broker, depository institution, or investment advisor:

  • No Lending Offers: Calculations of monthly mortgage installments, auto loan amortizations, or loan-to-value (LTV) ratios are for demonstration purposes only. They do not constitute a credit decision, a commitment to lend, or an application under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA).
  • Variable Rates & Fees: Loan calculations assume fixed nominal annual percentage rates unless explicitly noted. Escrow estimates for property taxes, private mortgage insurance (PMI), and homeowner insurance are modeled averages; actual escrow demands vary widely by county and insurance underwriter.
  • Investment Returns: Historical average annual returns modeled in compound interest and retirement calculators do not guarantee future performance. Capital market investments carry risk of principal loss. Consult a licensed fiduciary financial advisor before executing financial strategies.

3. Tax & Salary Disclaimer

Tax calculations and paycheck estimations provided on OmniCalcs:

  • Are modeled after general standard deduction baselines and federal/state bracket guidelines published by the IRS and relevant state tax departments.
  • Do not account for customized tax situations, complex capital gains, alternative minimum tax (AMT), specific municipal income taxes, or qualified business income (QBI) phase-outs.
  • Do not constitute formal tax advice. Users must consult a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or licensed Enrolled Agent (EA) before filing tax returns or making estimated quarterly tax payments.

4. Construction & Contractor Disclaimer

Construction, concrete, tiling, and material estimators:

  • Base calculations on ideal geometric equations ($V = L \times W \times D$) with user-selected percentage allowances for jobsite waste and settling.
  • Do not account for uneven subgrade conditions, uncompacted sub-base depths, grade variations, thermal expansion joint deductions, or structural reinforcement displacement (such as rebar grids).
  • Do not replace professional architectural or structural engineering blueprints. Always verify material estimates with your local ready-mix concrete supplier, master mason, or licensed general contractor before placing commercial orders.

5. Health & Medical Disclaimer

Calculators in the health and fitness category (including BMI, Calorie Deficit, and TDEE estimators):

  • Utilize generalized epidemiological formulas (e.g., the Quetelet formula for BMI) intended for population-level statistical screening.
  • Cannot distinguish between lean skeletal muscle mass, bone density, and visceral adipose tissue. Consequently, BMI may misclassify muscular athletes, elderly individuals, or pregnant women.
  • Do not constitute medical diagnosis, clinical evaluation, or treatment advice. Always consult a qualified physician or registered dietitian before initiating aggressive caloric restriction or intensive physical training programs.
